While traveling for work, and blogging about traveling for work, I have come across many useful resources along the way. These are the resources that make my business trips and business travel blog possible. Enjoy!

Business Trip Resources

I am a Marriott Rewards girl all the way. While I initially chose Marriott because that’s the hotel brand my coworkers go with, but I am happy with the decision. With the SPG merger, there are many possibilities for Marriott reward redemption.

For group travel, I frequently use AirBnB. AirBnb is a great place to get a large group rental for a reasonable price. Click on my referral link for $40 off a stay of $75 or more.

Uber is my go-to ride share app. With the new Uber Rewards, you can get reward points for riding more frequently and benefits for being a frequent user. In addition, I use Uber Eats a lot, which adds to the Uber Rewards program. Use my invite code michelle1943ue for a discount.

For personal car rentals, I am a fan of Turo. Turo is a website where people can put their personal cars up to borrow, and tends to be cheaper than a traditional rental car company. Use my referral link and get $25 off your first trip.

Luggage & Bags

I highly recommend the Away Bigger Carry-on for your business trips. I bought one for myself and my husband, and it is holding up well.

For backpacks, you cannot go wrong with a Tumi. If you are looking for a women’s tote bag, try Lo & Sons.

Pet Sitting

We use the Rover app to book a pet sitter for our cats.
