Gold Coast is considered Chicago’s most glamorous neighborhood. It’s most famous for it’s Magnificent Mile and the John Hancock building. It’s riddled with beautiful mansions, skyscrapers, fine dining and designer fashion.
You HAVE to take a walk down the Magnificent Mile!
How to Get to Chicago’s Gold Coast
Gold Coast is located just north of Chicago’s Loop. It can be reached in about an hour driving from Chicago’s O’Hare, by car or by public transit.
Gold Coast is a relatively small neighborhood. You should easily be able to get around on foot. I don’t recommend biking here, as there is much car traffic & craziness. It’s a tourist area!
