Plano, Texas is part of the DFW metropolis, and sits about twenty minutes north of downtown Dallas. Like Dallas, Plano is a hub for corporate headquarters, tech companies, and government contractors; each year more companies relocate or open Texas based offices in Plano.
Plano, however, is equally suburban and as companies relocate, so do many families. With plenty to do after 5:00 pm, you can live, work, and play without leaving Plano. The north Texas city had, at one point, the most restaurants per capita in the US. Additionally, there’s parks, recreation, bars, outdoor boardwalks, high end shops, and a downtown arts district, all within the Plano borders.
If you only head out for one night, check out the Shops at Legacy / Legacy West. Legacy West is a premier, upscale shopping and dining area catering to everyone from families to businessmen. Enjoy an open-air cocktail, spend an evening shopping, or relax at Bishop Park, all within the Legacy development.
