The Calcutta Tramways Company has recently launched a new air conditioned Tram restaurant in the Esplanade as a step to reinstate the heritage values and invigorate the current tramway routes running all across the city. This unique culinary tram will make four trips per day from Shahid Minar in Central Kolkata to Kidderpore and back again. Twice during lunch and twice during dinner hours.
