The city of Bengaluru has quickly established itself as the “Silicon Valley” of India owing to its infrastructural, technological and educational advancement over the last couple of decades. Bengaluru is now home of many youngsters and to cater to their needs, new restaurants, cafes and lounges are opening in the city every day. But that’s just one of the many activities you can do in Bengaluru on any given night. In case you’re looking for something different to do after work, look no further.

Indulge in Fly Dinning

Bengaluru has become the first city in India to offer the one-of-its-kind fly dining experience to its residents. A platform with a 22 seater dining table along with stuff and entertainers, goes up 180 feet in air, lifted by a crane while you can dine with a unique aerial view of the Nagawara Lake, Manyata Techpark and Bengaluru’s green belt. Even for those who have a fear of heights, this experience is pleasant as the platform is safe with three belts attached to the chairs and a safety net is in place at the bottom of the platform.

Attend an Open-Mic

Recently a lot of comedy clubs have started in Bengaluru where open-mics are organized to give new talents a chance to showcase themselves. You can attend one of those to chill with friends and beer or perform yourself to unleash your hidden talents. Either ways, an entertaining night is guaranteed.

Catch a Play

If you are interested in watching plays, you can certainly spend your leisurely time after work in Bengaluru viewing impeccable works of some of the prominent theater artists.

Rooftop Gazal Night

Treat yourself with a live Gazal night at Puran Da Dhaba (The Pride Hotel, 93, Richmond Road) along with some delicious North Indian delicacies. I bet you will still remember the flavors after you leave the city. Note that Gazal nights are not available on Mondays.

Watch a movie under stars

One of the best things to do in Bengaluru is to watch blockbuster movies with food, wine and friends under open sky. This is a one-of-its-kind cinematic experience which is not to be missed. You can watch these movies at the Nalapad Pavillion in the Palace Grounds. Tickets start from Rs 350, which includes popcorn and a soft drink. The drive-in movie is organized fortnightly and so do check their schedule before planning an outing there.

Go on a long drive to Rasta Café

If you love long drives at night, then make your way to Rasta Café. Located almost 50 km away from Bengaluru (on Mysore road), Rasta is a perfect spot to hang out with friends away from the din and bustle of the city. Most of the enthusiast prefer to go there late night when most of the city gets ready for bed. Note that the Rasta Café is closed on Mondays.

Go Camping in nature!

Fridays are great to disconnect from your work and go for a camping trip near Bengaluru with your friends. Camping is always a wonderful experience but if you plan ahead, you can turn it into a memory that will last forever. You have so many choices in and around Bengaluru start your weekend and comeback recharged to work.

These are some of the things you can do after work to rejuvenate yourself in Bengaluru city!
